This litter is sired by Elkhorn’s Roy Ralston, grandson of Champion Hall of Fame inductee, Tequila Joker. Roy Ralston is a strong hunter with an incredible stylish point and a dedicated, consistent retrieve.   The Dam, Elkhorn Peggy Sue, she is a serious, methodical hunter in the field. But at home she's a real love bug. She has a great nose that nearly always leads to solid points. She hunts in close, as Brittany's should, and is always eager to please, responding well to voice commands. There are twenty  nine Champions in Peggy’s pedigree and thirty in Roy's pedigree.  These pups have the genetic background that assures upland hunters they will be hunting with outstanding dogs.  All are well marked and will be ready to hunt this fall. They come with guarantee against genetic diseases. All are docked, dew clawed, well socialized, current on shots and worming.

They are AKC registered.  Price: 450.00 for unlimited rights.

We ship our pups at eight weeks old, please check out the Shipping.  Generally the pups have a brief exposure to live birds, smelling them in the cages, playing with a wing on the string, and sometimes mouthing a dead bird to get the "feel" of it.  It's remarkable to see a small pup, out playing and bounding about, then freeze when they come upon a game bird in a cage. The pup will drink in this wonderful scent and it's like a light bulb comes on.  The breeding and genetic ancestry kicks in. They focus their attention to it and seem to know this is their purpose in life.

At this point I ask all my customers about their hunting situations and style and how much room will this pup have at home.  I like to see these dogs go to home with plenty of yard room and know that the owners will hunt this dog.

As far as the male/female choice,  it's been my experience  males are just as good as females in all aspects.  Loyalty, attention, hunting, etc.  Males seem to have a bit more tenacity when in the field, staying in the hunt until you're ready to go home.  Then it seems they flip a switch and become your loving buddy, it's quite incredible.
